Most Improved Player – Reece Goble
This boy has had some stand out performances, he is solid and reliable in the tackle, his overall fitness has improved along with his general skills. He holds his position really well and has demonstrated a really good awareness of the play and his attitude is always excellent and really positive.
Players player – Lloyd Harman
A close run thing early on between 4 players however this player ultimately ran away with it securing 50% of the votes. Some of the comments were
"He is always in on the tackle and always gets up and plays on with conviction"
"Not afraid to get stuck in and has got even better this season"
"It is good to know that he is on my team"
Parents player – Callum Walsh
This year has been one of the closest I would say as 2 players earned 80% of the votes. It was only the last view votes that proved decisive – some of the comments were:
"He has an outstanding work effort on the pitch"
"He shows exceptional skill on the pitch and is a very strong physical player"
"He has been an outstanding addition to the team, always works hard and never gives up"
Managers player – Callum Walsh and Lloyd Harman
We couldn’t choose between 2 players that James and I both felt deserved it. We therefore decided on that basis – let’s just give out 2.
He has been immense in any position he is put in, his work rate desire and passion for the game is without question, his technical ability and skill levels have been seen week in week out but what he brings to the team is something even more - whenever he plays he gives the boys around him even more confidence. He has scored some great goals and he has assisted on even more.
He has been equally immense for the team – his work rate is phenomenal his positional sense is excellent and his ability to recover if he is ever found out of position is superb. He can skill players if required but in the main he keeps things simple and is rarely dispossessed and his attitude is second to none.
