About Crendon Corinthians

CCYFC was formed in July 1999 by a group of parents from Long Crendon who wanted their children to play football for the village club. Since then the club has grown and currently has almost 200 boys and girls training with us on Saturday mornings across nine age groups, from U6 to U18.

In 2004 the Club was granted FA Charter Standard status. The Charter Standard Scheme is a best practice guide that sets standards of coaching, administration and child protection for clubs working with young people. As a benchmark for quality, it will improve the playing experience for all.

A committee of parents runs the Club on a voluntary basis. The training sessions are led by parents who enjoy playing football, many having attended FA coaching courses as part of their commitment to the club. Each age group has a manager, who organises the training sessions and teams for matches, and an administrator who deals with team subs, kit, communication etc.

Crendon Corinthians compete in 5 different leagues:

  • Mixed teams up to and including the Under 10s play in the South Bucks Mini Soccer Conference (SBMSC). Information about the SBMSC can be found on their website: www.bucksfootball.co.uk
  • The Under 10 Girls team plays in the Bucks Girls Development League
  • The Under 12 Girls team plays in the Bucks Girls U12 League
  • Under 11 - Under 13 teams play in competitive leagues in the Wycombe & South Bucks Minor League, www.football-results.org
  • The U18 team plays in the South Bucks Youth League (www.sbyl.co.uk).

The Club Ethos is to provide equal opportunities for all. Commitment and attitude are placed above ability. We aim to encourage players to be self-disciplined, sporting and to develop their full potential in playing the game of football. The Club has adopted and adheres to a Child Protection Policy.

Each season all members of CCYFC must complete and sign a player registration form, and acquaint themselves with the Club Codes of Conduct found in the CCYFC Handbook. The handbook contains:

  • Code of Conduct for Parents and Spectators
  • Code of Conduct - Players
  • Code of Conduct - Managers and Coaches
  • Special notes for families new to the Club
  • Discipline Code
  • Club Complaints Procedure
